HOW IT WORKS

System Overview

The Vertical Stack Rail is purpose-built for apparatus with vertical stack exhaust pipes — and requires absolutely no manual connection. As the apparatus enters the firehouse, the stack catcher adjusts horizontally to automatically align the suction rail with the vertical exhaust stack.

When the ignition engages, a wireless signal activates the exhaust fan. All emissions are drawn through the suction rail and vented outside. When the apparatus returns, the fan starts automatically as it enters the bay. An optional Diverter Valve converts vertical stack apparatus to a side tailpipe exhaust, allowing those vehicles to park in any standard bay with a hose-based system.
